Doesn't that touch screen look very unresponsive, or alternatively that the touch areas are way too small? They kept missing the buttons/menu items in the video.
Can't upvote this enough!
Conduct AR! is really cool and well worth the money
I believe the problem is that these posts float to the top so easily. Any post with 3 upvotes in an hour or 2 (easy to get a few friends/coworkers to vote for your post) is going to be ranked in the top 5.
I don't think we'll ever get rid of these posts, and the solution is to make them less discoverable. I wrote about this yesterday here: https://www.designernews.co/stories/87276-is-the-dn-algorithm-placing-too-much-value-on-time
Wow, a really well executed project about a very important topic. Those videos are incredibly engaging.
I don't think that is what he intended at all. I think he's referring to the endless posts of "Free UI Kit", "eCommerce Mockup" etc.
Guess OP will have to answer :)
Good idea, but I do think it would generate fewer page loads, which means less income for DN.
I hear you. I also often spend more time reading the comments than the actual story. I had completely forgotten about the discussions tab, I wonder where it went?
I don't know if it is just the format (the list of tweets) that put me off, but I found these insights/opinions/tips to be pretty shallow.
Nice project. I would avoid truncating the domain names if possible. You kind of what to see what the full domain name is to evaluate if it's any good/interesting. Perhaps make the boxes bigger with fewer per row to allow for longer domains?
