Be nice. Or else.
Great article! I use Color Oracle from time to time— it's a utility that changes your screen's color to simulate the three most common types of colorblindness. I'm told it's not 100% accurate... I'd love to know if it's worth using more diligently.
I run a little record label called Grind Select with a few friends. We just released a new album today, and accompanying it, an interactive website. You get to make little gifs, and see the gifs that other people are making.
Hope you enjoy, even if the music isn't your cup of tea! We're looking for designers to collaborate with if you are interested— hit me up at email@example.com.
Great idea, will do!
Sup y'all, just noodling around with the Web Audio API. I'd be curious to know what features, if any, you'd like to see added to this!
Hint: wrap parentheses around some letters to get triplets!
Keep going! http://asherv.com/threes/threemails/
You can most definitely drop in images! Wherever you see an "Add Content" button you are able to add a text area, a slideshow, a video embed, etc... The demo site only shows off the core tools, but developers are able to create totally custom blocks of content.
You can define your own schemas for custom content types, allowing you to create complex views made up of things like text, numbers, areas, references to other pieces of content, etc. The apostrophe editing interface wires them up for you automatically.
Hey y'all- we've been working really hard on our node.js-based Apostrophe CMS and are proud to be launching a brand new demo site this morning.
You can find our docs site here: apostrophenow.org
And you can get started playing with it by grabbing the command line tool.
Open issues and pull requests on the Apostrophe GitHub!
Let us know what you think!
