What are the top known Tech/Design companies that hire complete remote working designers?
The entire Zapier team is remote.

I just got hired at Elastic. Almost entirely remote. Over 1,000 employees, just IPO'd last Friday.
Congrats. How it was the recruitment process?
Thanks! It was honestly amazing — long, but amazing. The craziest part was I didn't shake a single hand — met no one "in person." The culture there is so solid that I feel more connected with the folks I've met over Zoom than I have with many of the people I work with IRL on a daily basis.
That's great. I would love to see mid-size & big companies like Elastic and Automattic embracing a full remote culture.

Metalab is great and is hiring remote people. Think they have about 40% remote peeps :)
