To be honest, this looks like everything else you see coming out of dribbble. I dont get the inspiring part.

I agree but I think that that is a kind of reductive approach. A lot of product's on dribbble are fake so it's kinda cool to see one actually made in this style.

If "Brilliant New Icons" is a selling point of your design then it's not exactly "Inspiring".

Please try it first at least. The whole experience feels like a game, pretty cool. I can bet that they using GameKit to make it work so smooth.

Mmmm... I'm very suspicious of "Cleaning" apps for mac. They tend to be malware that provide very little value. There's no way I'm trying this unless they clearly dissuade me that that's not the case.

I'm here to troll anyone, this is an honest question: What is the point of this app?

They did beautiful and sweet app :)

EDIT: I'm really impressed how smooth this app is, it feels really like a game, and to be honest it feels fantastic :P

Also, the new panel is pretty useful as well: CleanMyMac X menu

I have a been using CleanMyMac3 for years now. It's a nice and useful app.

The redesign is really overstated, but no reason to hate on a company trying to push out decent, useful software for such mundane tasks.

It is a controversial app as the mundane tasks are things that we generally don't need to do. macOS is capable of maintaining itself and doesn't really need us to intervene. There is zero credible evidence that this app helps 'clean my mac'.

I've stopped using CMM for maintenance type tasks, though I still have a licence for it so I use it for removing/uninstalling Apps, this isn't even needed as there are free apps that do exactly the same thing.

I won't be buying a new licence simply because I do not need it, they're selling it as a huge update when the biggest change is the design.

Is this a free upgrade from the last version?

Not from Clean My Mac 3, but I'm pretty sure I paid for upgrades for life last time which sucks. I do use this app a lot though regardless of the lick of paint the new features look kinda useful... not convinced it's worth paying for an upgrade, but I prob will do just to support the team

I've used this app before and it removed things that I actually need (ex. dictionary app). I had that issue for a while and stopped using it. Anyone having this issue and would you still recommend it?

Uh, yeah, no. I would be pretty leery of some app rooting around in my Mac's nether regions. I can manually manage disk space on my own, thank you.

My teeth hurt looking at this. Feels like I overdosed on sugar.
