New Webflow feature: Upload files in forms (webflow.com)

That's cool, BUT ... to use that feature the website must be on BUSINESS hosting option ($45), more than double than most popular CMS hosting out there.
The value is obvious, but assume that services like typeform (FREE/or $9) still will be used for webflow forms as a primary option.
Sometimes they want too much, just like dropbox ;) and their Business accounts aka "not for individuals".
You bring up valid points about the pricing.
Just wondering, where is Typeform $9? The free comes with serious limitations, and first paid plan is 25/mo.
Forgive me please, you are right, $9 is a false statement regarding typeform. What I meant to say is that there are solutions just like typeform (with "upload" functionality), which offer free or $9/month plans.
Sorry for the mistake!
Yes, comparing Business pricing to CMS pricing may seem like sticker shock, but consider the value of Business hosting (global CDN + higher CMS limits + file upload + Webflow) vs. alternatives (Jotform/Wufoo/Typeform @ 25/mo + ____ hosting).
Plus you get to customize the appearance of the file upload field however you want, something you don't get with any of the 3rd party solutions.
Maybe it's akin to comparing locally sourced, farm fresh, organic, non-GMO carrot juice vs. canned carrot puree. Maybe.
I understand your perspective and agree with you on some points. But, looking at my reality with 20-+ clients (all with webflow hostings), they are using the CMS (max) hosting. The upload option would be useful for most of them, but not for the price (at least for them).
I know, I need better clients :P But this is just my reality.
Best!
