I'm just sharing this as I like the in-depth UX review and also cause it totally resonates with my own experience using stock Android on my part-time phone.

tl;dr: We have to hold Google to a higher standard than "good enough" and "tolerable." If the company can use AI and ML and other fancy things to tell me that a dog is a Bolognese, it sure can fix the basic interface elements of its sharing menu.
