Friendly feedback: I felt very stupid that it took me a (way too) long time before I realized you could scroll further. Maybe some indicator of that there's more content to come could be a solution, if this would be a common issue. Try hotjar or something to see wether people continue down the site?
I closed the site without realising you could scroll down. I was tricked to thinking this was just a showcase of eclectic food displays.
Lovely and very tasty. Also because I watched it around noon and my hunger starts coming up. But the navigation is lacking, I can not find a way to skip directly to the different parts of the site.
Same, took me a solid few minutes looking at the page before I discovered I could scroll.
Like mentioned no scroll indicator, and terrible to scroll on ipad pro.
Plus: Layout, colors, photos are awesome
Minus: Forced step scrolling between section and missing summary nav for the content
It's energetic, fun, with big, beautiful photography showcasing the food. Visually isolating the ingredients is a nice touch.
All this is ruined by the user-hostile scroll behaviour. It just makes it stressful and frustrating to use.
+ves - Great Grid Layout
-ves - Scroll Hijacking
Future - Trigger elements on scroll position using Scroll Magic & Greensock Tweenmax.
