I like it, but I'm not sure why it's a "comic sans" alternative.
Agreed. It's close to the category, but I don't see it being limited for use in comics or children's material. It's rather nice!
Glad you like it! The title was just a shortcut (and perhaps slightly provocative) way of describing the genre of informal handwriting block-letter fonts.
Heh, I mean, "Comic Sans" has a way with getting designers' attention. ;)
