Great new design. The transitions, wobbles, bounces, and blurs are going to take a little while to get used to. Opening an image and flicking it around like a ragdoll is a lot of fun, though.

I have a feeling Tapbots will refine this over time. Whereas Tweetbot 2 was relatively polished, I think it'll be a few months of feedback before they consider it 'done.'

Maybe the tapped state (dark gray) should be lighter. The transition is a bit jarring for me.

Paul and Mark, excellent work. I always love buying and using your products.

Nooo the design is so bad! Ugh, I didn't think tapbots would go all the way over, I thought they'd retain some taste : /

Is it bad!? Fair enough it might not be to your taste but I'm curious as to what makes the new version 'so bad', objectively speaking.

Seems to be some banter surrounding the desire for a "night mode". I'm guessing some users aren't adjusting moving from the previous dark palette to the new "bright and light" version.

Mark Jardine (Designer) just replied with the following:

...Night mode had to get cut for 3.0. It is coming though. Promise.

    Here's a tweet I read recently:

"UI lessons from iOS 7: making something look like a real object is a terrible idea; making it bounce like a real object is a fantastic one."

This seems to be the mantra the Tapbots crew are running with this time around and, although I never thought I would, I like it.

Excited to see how they refine it from this solid starting point.

Downloaded this morning. Mentioned in the last Tweetbot for iOS7 announcement post; my most anticipated iOS7 update.

Not completely enamoured with it. Yet. For me it's lost a little character, blending more blandly in to iOS7.

But true to form, the usability, interactions, tones and overall attention to detail is first class. And it's early yet.

Huge respect to the guys at Tapbots.

Let's get to the real heart of the issue here.

That icon animation is seriously awesome!
