Gotta say, that built in customer service in the machine is...superb. Should have tried to press the help button when I was at Tokyo last Jan.
Love this point:
Design for edge cases, rather than around them
Luke W. made a similar point at this week's Breaking Development Nashville '13. Basically design for the extremes and the middle takes care of itself.
