Updating my main work machine in the middle of the workweek with a deadline looming?

    Don't mind if I do.

EDIT/UPDATE: Updated now and everything seems to be operational with the exception of bartender, which I suppose I can live without for the moment. Back to work.

Did anyone think of Tron: Legacy like I did when they announced the update would be free?

Liking what I see so far. DND mode, tabs, tags and icloud keychain. Pretty useful stuff! Downloading the iWork pack now

I manage to miss it because it wasn't as discoverable as it is now.

I'm just looking at it on ML now, its hidden and not in the notifications. So its an improvement I guess :)

It's in the notification center in ML. You just have to scroll up to get to it.

I agree it's more discoverable now.

Does anybody know if you can update the GM with this release version without losing data? Thanks.

Because I haven't heard much about it, I must be the only one still using Apple Mail. I updated to Mavericks last night, and now entire folders have disappeared. Previously set up rules are f*cked now too - the junk/other mail that used to filter nicely into folders (which aren't there anymore) goes straight to my inbox. Meanwhile, actual messages I would be getting in my inbox are going to a new "Archive" folder that has upwards of 180,000+ unread messages in it. And it likes to sync every time I click on it, making it unusable.

All that is to say, if you haven't updated already, DON'T DO IT.

That sucks :-/ But I think this might be a one-off case. I use apple mail for my work email and all of my smart mailboxes and folders are fine.
