If you guys are going to support vectors, does this mean that I can copy from Sketch and Paste in Framer Design and be able to manipulate those objects like if they were created natively in Framer?

Hey all. Get ready for an all-new, seriously powerful screen design tool. On December 20, you’ll be able to design everything from detailed icons to high-fidelity interactions—all in Framer. Share our teaser on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #FramerTeaser and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a free one-year subscription, too.

We’re beyond excited to share this with you all, and cannot wait to hear what you all think.

Not a diss at all ... this looks lovely. What differentiates Framer from the crowded landscape of Sketch, InVision Studio and Adobe XD?

The key differentiator for me is that you'll never hit a ceiling in Framer. If you have an idea you can design it without relying solely on the tools features. With lower barrier to entry tools you'll always come across stuff you can't design, whereas when you use code the only limitation is yourself. =)

So, with this, Sketch Cloud and Invision Studio etc the design tools are slowly beginning to offer basically the same features.

No, you can make prototypes in invision studio without code (a better solution in my book) and I believe Sketch doesn’t have a built in prototyping tool yet.

And Invision studio will ave windows support! Something which Framer and Sketch doesn’t have.

Now windows yet, I have been lurking on their career page, I have seen a few Windows job postings. Btw you are talking about Framer studio because Framerjs is just a framework that you can use anywhere.

You are right. What I mean is that all major design/prototyping tools are moving into the same area.
