That video makes that product look really unappealing. Combined with the type it looks super clinical, and not tasty, which food needs to look before I'd want to buy it.
I actually disagree with your comment, but understand what you mean. To me, the product seems to be aiming itself at a higher-socioeconomic market than I'd expect a food product to be normally aimed at, but it gives me a sense of 'technology' being involved in it's production.
If it were me, I'd have added some herbs or something to the scrambled... eggs?.. being prepared in the video so that it doesn't just look like a blob of mucus to start with. Other than that, I thought the minimal visual style was fairly well suited to the product (which also has fairly minimal labelling).
110% AGREED
Oh man. I was just finishing up some breakfast when that video came on. There should have been a warning or something.
Eh gotta disagree, I'm currently hungry and love eggs and that video made me want some scrambled right now.
The weight of typeface in that specific typeface on page makes it feel very default for some reason. Lack of caps doesn't help.
I can't say I agree with the size and type choice of the copy.
This website is lovely !
Nice photography, but gotta agree – the egg video was a tad yucky!
Those scrambled eggs are definitely overdone >o<
Some people like more "done" eggs for some reason...
(ps, what's your favorite hero?)
Creamy butter scrambled eggs all the way
