At half the current price I would think about it. At the current price I cannot justify it at all. Looks like I'll be waiting 1-2 years for the price to come down.
I agree - I think I'll wait for it to come down to half the price before getting one.
I have far too much excitment buying stationery to be stuck with a device.
Looks very nice. But it should support bluetooth keyboards (does it?) And i think if there is no handwriting to text conversion, its quite useless....
I'd consider buying this if I'd be able to use it as an e-reader as well, but given how much I've invested in my Kindle library already I can't see making the jump until I can either migrate or use those books on the new device.
I have had mine for just over three weeks. After the 2nd, I stopped carrying my Moleskines with me. The build is nice and minimal and writing and sketching are natural with practically imperceptible lag (it really is amazing). The software is very much early days but it gets the job done. Startup time is pretty rough but once it is on, it wakes up quickly from sleep mode. The only real downside is the cost... ok, and the folio sleeve which is already falling apart.
If you burn through lots of notebooks and have the cash to throw at it, it is worth while..
The website and video looks very impressive. But isn't it possible to replicate it with an App - When you turn it ON, you are not allowed to use SM or browsing for next few hours. Also, the screen effect can be mimicked as such.
My colleague is actually using this. It's pretty neat and "natural" to write down notes and she's also planning her new apartment with this. It actually has pretty nice interaction patterns.
€629 is kind of steep but if it will tidy up all my notes, sketches laying around, it's probably worth it...
