Input on Sketch work guidelines

over 3 years ago from

I'm currently in the process of drafting a document how to work in Sketch. This is for internal purposes to create a knowledge center about best practices, how to structure a file, plugins, symbol handling, etc… It isn't meant to be an intro or a guide, so I'm not explaining parts of the basic UI or whatever, but it's supposed to take Photoshop users and show them how to do things differently and take pre-existing concepts and shape them into something new.

To bring an example, this would be such a reference guide: Photoshop Etiquette or AREA 17 Design Techniques (<- definitely not as detailled as this one)

I've been exclusively working in Sketch for over 3 years, so I tend to forget about smaller nuances and stuff I don't even think about anymore.

Question: Do you – either as a heavy Photoshop/Illustrator/Fireworks/XD/etc… user or already familiar with Sketch – have any suggestions which topics you would include in such a document? Is there anything in particular you would want to know more about?

Thanks for your help.

PS: I would very much like to share this document publicly, once I finish it.
