Framer, Sketch, Invision Studio, and I'm betting whatever Bjango is working on will have the same issue.
This is not responsive design: https://framer.com/assets/static/images/platforms/web/design-web.mp4
Until these tools start actually emulating how content flows and behaves on the web (like WebFlow does) then there is still an enormous gap between my design and the final result.
Couldn’t agree more. Recently wrote an article (https://uxtools.co/blog/how-to-use-framer-for-responsive-web-design) about how to make artboards truly responsive, but we’re still a ways away from what you’re describing.
Excellent guide, thanks. I don't use Framer currently but considering how easy it is to write that kind of logic I am more and more tempted.
Highly recommend it. Let me know if you get stuck!
Who's going to do the Framer vs Sketch vs Invision studio vs Figma vs Webflow vs Adobe XD vs………???
Nice to see they're paying attention to web now.
Cool but Sketch does already have CSS export for a long time and also the 'responsive artboards' (IIRC)
So, is framer a design tool now?
great web for design, especially for marketers. But do i have to pay for it?
