Hi everyone, I recently updated my personal website and have been looking to get some feedback. I have designed this site keeping three kinds of people in mind - designers, recruiters, hobbyist developers. I am specifically looking for feedback on the content and the value it provides to aforementioned people.
Love the fact that your site is pretty lean under the hood. I'm meaning to give Jekyll a spin at some point.
Glad to know that you like it. Previously I was using Wordpress and found it too complex, time consuming and expensive to host a static personal website.
Jekyll and Github Pages have really worked wonders for me.
First of all, the design looks great! Second of all, you have interesting projects.
Now, in the homepage, in the article area you have a 3rd typography? looking like playfair, i would throw it away and keep it simple. maybe some kind of an italic of the other main type!
In the top you have a line separating your logo and the menu bar. is it really necessary? If you make your logo a little bit bigger, you dont need it ;)
Hope that i've helped you in some way! keep posting ;)
Thanks for the feedback Ismael.
Yes, that is Playfair Display. I am only using two - Roboto and Playfair (It is not 3rd). Will try some other or maybe remove playfair completely.
The line is not really necessary, but I thought it is making the navigation bar visually balanced and not right side shifted. But still point noted.
Appreciate your response and glad to know that you liked it.
