On the subject of randomness, here's a related anecdote;

I used to have the same user image on all social media. I had one particular image that I stuck with for +- 6 years.

Then I moved from the Netherlands to Australia, and changed my image: by flipping it upside down, and sticking with it for another 5 years before finally going nuts and changing it every few months.
