I agree - my team switched from InVision to Marvel about a year ago because the whole experience felt faster and more streamlined. We've been happy with it.

Our company has been using Marvel for a couple of years now and have never had any major complaints.

InVision offers that for free. Not sure about this pricing model.

Free? Free add-on you mean? Which is the same with Marvel as far as I can see.

It's actually kind of confusing. If I'm a freelancer and want access to Handoff, do I have to contact Enterprise Sales and negotiate something over the phone, rather than just use it like InVision?

I use InVision but feel the company just bloated way beyond its means. Marvel's feature announcements always seem to offer features I actually care about (and I think the overall product design usability is stronger).

I wonder how much a company like Marvel is worth?

Not much probably, they just copy what others are doing and have no products of their own.

As long as they leave all the invision-bugs out, I'll be more than happy to make the switch :)

They have bugs of their own and miss some common sense stuff like being able to group screens by categories, making it a nightmare to work in if you have more than a small number of screens.

I use both and overall prefer Marvel, but the grouping feature is something I'd love to see included with Marvel ;)

Wow dude, you really truly hate Marvel that you had to comment twice? How about you leave the thread but also leave the internet too.

Am I not allowed to express my opinion? Or are you saying it is not true that they don't have groups?

Opinion all you want! It's just that it doesn't always paint a very flattering portrait amongst your peers when a post isn't quite nuanced enough to escape torch & pitchfork territory :)

Heck, some here might even become future employers or business partners of yours - might be worth keeping in mind!

So you are saying I am ruining possible relationships with future employers / colleagues because I criticised a tool? I can see how it might hurt my chances of working at Marvel, and that is fine by me, but otherwise I see no reason to not be critical of companies I think should do better and I also see no reason why other designers should feel offended on their behalf. I stand by my criticism of Marvel and the way it was phrased.

God some designers are overly sensitive.

Or maybe you're misreading my comment. Which is exactly my point. You made a fairly sweeping statement in saying they steal everything they do. Since that's all you said in your initial comment, outsiders can interpret that as hyperbole.

It's not about what you say - it's about how you'll be interpreted.

Anyway, just trying to show a different perspective. Take it as you will!

To be fair, you're pretty critical of a lot of things posted on DN :P

And critical is fine! Just have something to back it up with in the same breath!

Pointing at a problem is easy. Handing people a solution as well is the cool part :]

You're still allowed to have an opinion, and my opinion of you is that you're a dick.

This is a classic circle jerk comment. I like Marvel as much as the next guy, but there is nothing wrong with Cristian expressing criticism.
