Bye Craft, good knowing ya!
Total side note, but Karla is one of my favorite google fonts. really love the use of it here
It really is nice.
Thanks. It's such a simple font. No-frills.
Agree, it looks beatiful on small text size (16-18px).
Nice! I like that the solution lets people choose where to place and how to sync their Library masters. Wondering how this is going to work with Abstract, though. Guess we'll see soon. Same with Sketch Runner. Would be nice if Library Symbols will appear there too.
played with it this morning. Works with Sketch Runner!
Yep also curious how this will work with Abstract.
Now we're talking.
This came at a great time for me. Just tested this out on some duplicate files—working great. Fantastic!
Anybody know if this plays nice with Abstract?
Considering Sketch is saying that a Library would just be an ordinary Sketch file (in their documentation), I assume it will play nice with Abstract.
They've said they'll support this when it comes out of beta (re Twitter)
Finally! Love that you can link multiple libraries and that updating a component in one linked library file updates across all of the instances of that component in other files :o
Been waiting so long for this! This is awesome.
My main concern is that it doesn't support groups and layers, just symbols.
I had that thought too...at least Photoshop let you globally link to anything. For me, not everything needs to be a symbol, but I'll roll with this in the meantime.
What about the fact that it's 2017 and this new feature still requires you to avoid editing the same files as another designer at the same time. Figma and Brand.ai are doing it right, Sketch is not.
Yeh, this rules.
Does it support colours like CC Libraries or is it just for symbols?
Man colors and Text Styles support would be so rad.
Well, some of us had that for years, and it is pretty good.
Looks like Text Styles are coming, just not fully implemented yet.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT
I really like the implementation. We've been messing around with Figma's component library and it felt great, but the way you can keep the text override in Sketch is just great.
1) This is awesome. 2) I can't believe it's 2017 and we're only just getting features like this in a true UI design app. I'm so glad it's finally happening.
