Zero user feedback after submission kind of sucks. Neat idea though... ruined however by some of the submissions so far
Thank you for the feedback, I will add authentication and validation as soon as possible.
just added mine :)
Lots of real website are on this. I got edison.com and tesla.com right off the bat; both are alive and well. There appears to be no more than ~30 on here, and no one is validating them. :/ Cool idea tho, just needs some real content.
Hey, it's my first project ever and I am only learning how to code. Going to add twitter auth soon, hope it will help a little bit. I am not sure how to actually validate websites, but I will dig into it. Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated.
Neat; best wishes on the project. Seems like a broad enough one to pick up lots of new tricks. By validate, I just meant having you (or someone) manually confirm that the submitted domains are indeed dead. Although that might be necessary as an ongoing service for each domain now that I think about it which might not be sustainable.
Yeah I thought I will now create a database of 100-500 most popular websites in the world (which I believe must be available via some free API) and then some time later add a "report" button. Think it will be enough. Also, as there are more than 120 domains atm added it seems that people don't see a reason to spam anymore. Thank you for kind words though!
submitted theartgetsbetter.com. not sure if it worked. no feedback upon form submit
Hi, thank you for the feedback, this is very important point and adding success/error message on submission is my top priority at the moment. I don't see your domain on the list. You can tell me your twitter username and I will add it by myself.
Cool! theartgetsbetter.com yitong_zhang
I know that you have mentioned that the site is still under development, just wanted to note that I tried to submit a domain I own ( css.style ) but the form keeps throwing an error on my twitter handle. (I tried with and without the "@")
Hi, please try again :) or DM me at https://twitter.com/fztsh, I will add it manually. Thank you for pointing to this issue here, I appreciate it a lot :)
Hey Dima, still having some issues. I'm not so worried about adding my domain. I was just trying help test your new project. It's possible that my twitter handle is throwing an error because it includes an underscore. ( @JonLehman_ ).. sucky handle I know.. I've been wanting to change it forever. Anway, just thinking that may be the issue?
I don't use Twitter.
Unfortunately you won't be able to add your domain without Twitter at the moment. I plan to add Facebook support as well, but it's not a top priority atm.
Sent the mine too, waiting for an $$ offer ;)
Cool site
Thanks!
