I´ve red thousands of articles about this and also asked a lot of people. Now I want to ask the most good looking part of the internet ;) => LESS or SASS?
SASS (or whatever you are most comfortable with).
This is like arguing between a BMW and Mercedes when you have a Porsche just sitting there.
Like the coffeescript of CSS.
Variables are defined with = instead of : making things much less confusing.
Brackets / colons / semi-colons are all optional.
Why would I pick a Porsche over a Mercedes?
Stylus is superior
Stylus is indeed the best. I've been working on a large helpers/ui library for stylus for a while, that has the best features pulled from compass/bourbon and more: http://roots.cx/axis/
This guy is getting a design overhaul soon, this is just the docs for it.
SASS, and not SCSS based SASS. I know I don't use SASS to it's full potential, which is probably why I don't lose much not using the SCSS syntax, but I enjoy not having to type out opening and closing curly braces or ending semi-colons all the time!
I like both, but SASS is what I typically use.
SASS all day everyday.
And if im using bootstrap: https://github.com/jlong/sass-bootstrap
Interesting how many people say SASS, I personally use LESS.
I couldn't be with out brackets, if I was going to use it i'd pick SCSS
Apparently SASS is the overwhelming winner. I prefer LESS though, because it's what I learned.
I've used both extensively and come to feel SASS is more complete
Sass. with the indented syntax
SASS all the way!
Sass (.scss edition)
lol @ less
SASS, not SCSS.
SASS, forget about LESS
SASS & SCSS
SASS for their extended community and its plugins (Compass, Bourbon...)
