holly molly, I'm on broadband at work and that site has an initial load of 4 seconds. That's like infinity years on the internet.

He Lee! We tested it on different types of broadband and with 3G it takes for example approx 3.8 sec and with 4G for example 1.4 sec. So yeah it depends on what kind of broadband you are but we've tried it to make it as fast as possible with all the techniques we've used.

I'm on a business fibre link in my office, and it took ~4 seconds on initial load. Performance-wise, in a secondary monitor (from my MacBook Pro) the background animation and full-screen css transitions on pageload made chrome drop down to about 2 frames per second. After the initial transitions had finished, playing with the main navigation still saw chrome stutter around the 10-12fps mark

Hey, I love that the case studies are broken into challenge / goals / process / solution / outcomes. Makes it really easy to get a quick understanding of the project!

I would suggest that projects be displayed on the homepage. Currently, the homepage is just a short blurb that directs me to visit the project page. Seems like an extra step for the user when there is no reason for it.

He Ted, thanks for your comment! Yeah that is something we're also thinking about. We currently test how many users click through to the work page and decide then how and what :)
