    I just ignore them. Nothing to worry about. Same with http://researchpaperonline.net, not a problem!

    Sometimes comments on DN could be noisy and full of boring stuff, I usually read just the first comment and leave. So I made a tiny Chrome extension that hides all the comments but the first one.

    The filter for best/worst/newest/oldest is quite handy too.

      How do you distinguish worst when most posts don't contain a downvote? Do you just show none?

        Not up to me, I just placed the filter that's already here in the center and show just the first (top) thread per segment.

          Yeah. So that kinda makes it a joke :)

          Let's say everybody uses it. As soon as something gets 1 up-vote, none of the other, or new comments, will be seen!
