My initial thought was "Oh, another Designernews click bait article that will tell me that bold typography is the next big thing" but it turned out to be a a surprisingly well designed site with interesting content. Well done.

I think thats a very cohesive mapping of visual trends right now. But it is not mentioning the revive of 90's swirls and triangles and spirals.

Well they're a photography startup. Seems logical to be focused just on visual trends in photography.

There's a fantastic book about trends research called 'bellweather' by Connie Willis,
In her book, there was a trend of 'po-mo' (post modern) pink, much like this 'millenial pink' in the article.
