3 years ago from , Front End Developer & Designer

Hey DN, currently looking an options for a simple and responsive user feedback form, and have just stumbled upon LimeSurvey. Any opinions on this / suggestions for other software would be much appreciated! Thanks

SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Wufoo, Typeform, GetFeedback, SurveyGizmo.

Things to consider, aside from price:

    1. Do you want to run analysis within the product or export a spreadsheet and run analysis on that?

    2. What kind of interaction do you want—feedback buttons, site intercepts or pop-ups, etc.—and how customizable do you need it to be?

    3. Do you want to set up multiple copies of the same questionnaire or segment the responses (for example, based on the survey URL you embedded, or the URL of the page they were on, etc.)?

Also really useful: check out integrations with Zapier (or with your current tools directly) to see what you can automate: https://zapier.com/zapbook/#sort=popular&filter=forms

If you're looking for a way to get meaningful feedback on desktop, I'm actually building a tool for this. Here's the DN post about it. Is that something you'd find useful?

I cannot recommend UserVoice enough. Even if you don't end up choosing the product/service, they are prolific in this area and I would recommend their and Intercoms blogs on customer support/service/feedback/etc.

If you are looking to collect feedback in the form of NPS (Net Promoter Score), check out Metriculator. It will help you collect feedback back both in-app (embedded in a website) and via email.

What kind of feedback are you looking to collect? Does it need to be embedded in a website?

Just simple user feedback - things such as errors, general feedback, etc... Something that Google Forms would probably suffice for, but I was wondering if there was anything more suitable.
