YouTube link – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BT8z0FenBE
This really should be the top comment.
Just imagine the concept of posting links or embeds to a blog. Insanity.
Could have just shared the Youtube link?
Is the embed not working?
Seeing as you brand yourself as a design critic it seems a little lazy to post someone else's video to your blog without adding anything to it or providing any extra value other than to get traffic to your blog. I'd expected at least a bit more than 'Just brilliant'.

Agree. Posting your own content to a community driven site like this is lame enough. Posting an embedded video with barely a sentence of context is just cringy.
Yet here we are. Commenting. Clicking away like good little designers filling his CTR quotas up / making ad revenue.
Posting your own content to a community driven site like this is lame enough.
Why is it lame?
It's self indulgent. Post it to your own platforms, and if it's good, it'll get picked up. There are so many places to post your own work/content (Dribbble, Medium, Behance... the list goes on).
The video speaks for itself. I appreciate the feedback.
Well that's his whole point? The video speaks for itself, then just post the Youtube link.
Then he wouldn't get traffic.
This is definitely how a designer should behave in the next season of Silicon Valley (Edit: I think this is some kind of subtle universe building actually—well done!)
Damn, Eli Schiff gets a lot of hate from this community. I mean, I see why some don't, but I enjoy his writing.
Fun fact Eli, UMass blocks your site :P
I am humbled a prolific critic such as yourself submitted this! Would love for some criticism of the video itself.
Not much to say beyond that I really enjoyed it!
If I'm completely honest, I thought the video was too tame. You have to try really hard if you want to out-pretentious some of the actual designers we have around…
I think this wraps our profession up nicely.
Eli's the best, he embeds a youtube link on his site and shares it and a vocal group of the DN community lose their minds, pushing the post to the top of site, (Lots of extra yummy traffic) clever.
I didn't get my knickers in a twist of the extra click, the video is pretty funny and does speak for itself, thanks for the share.
While this is obviously a parody, I think it does address some issues things about the UI design profession.
I'm going to get that tattoo...

It's funny cos it's satirical!
Baby don't draw me; don't draw me, no more.
This is satirically correct, the best kind of correct.
