Great example of Webflow in action, how long did it take to put this together? Also how was this put together? I'm curious what the workflow is.
Nice application of accent colours by the way, that's a nice touch :)
This was something I worked on during weekends over the course of a couple months.
Here's a preview link. Feel free to look through it.
Very cool, and thanks for including On the Grid and Working File!
You do good work! Happy to have you on here.
I consider On the Grid an important part of my design education. I have major feels towards that podcast. Very appreciative of you Matt and Dan!
I've started listening to more podcasts over the past few years and I've always found it difficult to find new things to listen to. There's definitely no shortage of them, but it's often difficult finding something worth listening to. I created this site to find the best podcasts on the internet and organize them in one place.
Beautiful site, well done! And thanks for including Design Details in there ;)
Thanks for making Design Details!
Hey Nathan, I noticed that Design Details and High Resolution are filed under the Podcasting category. I believe this is incorrect, and you meant to put them in Design?
To keep things simple, I'm using the tags/genres for the podcasts that exist in iTunes.
Definitely agree with you though. These are some pretty strange tags for these podcasts.
Cool, didn't realise you were pulling them in from there. Fair explanation. Nice work on the site.
Over the years I've listened to a lot of different podcast, but lately I've been ditching a lot of them and I'm sticking to these:
- Ari Shaffir's Skeptic Tank
- Bertcast (Bert Kreisscher)
- The Joe Rogan Experience (everything except the MMA stuff)
- Monday Morning Podcast (Bill Burr)
- The Nerdist (don't listen to all of them, only the guests that I like)
- You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes
I'm a big fan of standup comedy, and I really love it when comedians talk to each other on a podcast. They go deep, they make you laugh, etc. And it feels like you're actually part of the conversation.
Some of my favorite JRE episodes are the ones where Bert Kreischer is a guest. I'll need to add some of these and create a comedians collection.
Great idea and great site!
The Merlin Mann shows in the "Editors Picks" tell me you've got a very good taste in podcasts.
He's great. I listen to most of his shows regularly. One of my favorite features of GoodPods is the ability to see what other shows a host appears on: http://goodpods.co/host/merlin-mann
This is great Nathan. I love podcasts and this tool comes very handy!
I've submitted a few of my favorites that aren't already in your list.
BTW, why there's no search function?
Search is definitely needed. Will probably be the next thing that I work on.
Here is a nice collection of all UX podcasts out there: http://www.designbrief.de/ux-radio/
Might I request a philosophy category?
I've had a similar wip project on the go for a year or so now. Just need a developer to help me out. Perhaps this is a shameless call to action but if anybody is interested please let me know. I hate having designs but nobody to help put them together.
Whispers, use Webflow
haha the concept would be quite complicated with user login functionality and such, is that possible in Webflow?
Ah, yeah, Webflow lacks native user login at the moment
This is great, thank you so much for putting this together
