A huge improvement over their previous UIs, especially in terms of responsiveness. Simply navigating the OS functions on the 3DS was painfully slow, and no updates ever really addressed the problem. I'm glad to see that Nintendo has seemingly learned from modern mobile devices this time around.
Yeah, lots of steady improvement there. The Wii was terrible. Wii U a bit better. This looks a lot better again. I’m very happy with that, given UI and menus are one of Nintendo’s weaknesses.
Damn. It got taken down.
I'm pretty sure I need to pick one up. I may wait until a zelda/console bundle comes out though
This looks very promising, can't wait to pick mine up and play Zelda, 2 weeks today!!!
480p video? What year is this??? Good god man....I need HD resolution! Was this video ripped from another high quality source?
Would like to see if it works with just touch too as it has a touch screen. I got some serious PSP flashbacks when the device booted though :P
One touch to focus and one touch to activate!? Please make it not so
It's designed to be easy to use for kids. This eliminates accidental button presses.
My son (5) and daughter (2) use the iPad every day (which I would argue is as much a child's education tool as anything else) and this isn't a core part of their UX.
Hmm, that's a good point. I guess nintendo isnt known for stellar ux or ui choices. Unrelated, but overall im pretty sure the switch is gonna bomb. It looks like nintendo doesnt have a clue what they're doing wrong.
