What dimensions do you use for a PDF portfolio in 2017?

Title says it all: what dimensions do you use for your PDF portfolio? 8.5x11 seems a bit outmoded—I doubt anyone will print this, and it doesn't fit any size screen very well. 1920x1080 seems reasonable, as it fits pretty well on most screens, but not quite right. What's your solution?

Exactly – if you plan to provide a PDF portfolio, it is essentially a printable keynote. Make it like you would a presentation, only selling yourself.

I have one. I am a UX Designer on the job hunt, and I've used it once or twice in the dozens of interviews I've had over the last few months.. I was very thankful to my past self for having put the work into making it, even if I only used it twice.

How I made mine: Intro/title page with name and title, then a landscaped resume. Then, go into case studies, with three being the absolute maximum.

But back around to your original question – yes, make it for screens.
