A github repo for sketch runner would be fantastic. It's such a hassle downloading it from the website every time there's an update...

How can multiple people have issues with old files? Does the Sketch team not check their release version on previous/older files themselves (especially the areas in which are related to changes), before they release an update? Sorry to be so negative, but it's constantly the same reaction I read about these updates...

Maybe the real lesson is don't update things on your work machine for no reason

Why wouldn't you make sure that your software is up-to-date? I can understand not relying on beta software for production, but it seems a bit ridiculous to not update your software to the latest stable release. Are you still using V1.0 of the software on your computer?

For what it's worth (and I don't work for Sketch), file conversion is a non trivial problem. I assume there are thousands and thousands of Sketch documents out there, so it would be impossible to test each one, combine that with their plugin eco system (which is amazing) and the problem is compounded.

In my experience, working in software the past ten years, QE usually does a lot of passes on existing files, but sometimes bugs fall through. I've seen this happen in companies both really big and small.

What works best is simply to email them that your file is broken with the new version. There are passionate engineers on these teams who want to get it right. They'll probably fix it, or even manually fix your file, then be able to use it as a test case for the next release.

It's not ideal, but that's the reality of software.

So we have spent a lot of time creating UI styleguides using nested symbols and now the update breaks the overrides? Great.

Clicks Skip this version in the update window.

I haven't seen any issues with nested symbols and overrides.

You haven't, but there are people who have. I am not sure what is the reason for my files - created in v.41 - to break override behaviour in nested symbols. I am also not sure why it affects only some people.. Inconsistent malfunctioning.

Huge improvement to nested symbol speed. Happy with that.

Thanks for everything you do. I love sketch simply for the fact that it has taught me team to be less dependant on a software stack. Sketch is also greaat, but mainly I love to have an alternative

"Math operators now work in the radius field for rectangles. The semicolon (;) is now the character used to apply differing radii (40;0;40;0)"

Good to know, I thought it was broken at first when I wanted to change a value in my "8/8/0/0" format and it reset to zero afterwards.

Craft Sync tool with Invision seems to not work anymore with this update. Am I the only one with this problem ?

EDIT : everything's back to normal after updating Craft :)

After the update I am seeing quite drastic decrease in performance and not everything works as expected - esp. overrides in nested symbols seem to have completely broken... Now I really wish I didn't update.

EDIT: Newly created nested symbols and overrides in them seem to behave normally, but not the ones I have in older files..

Is anyone else experiencing issues, as in it doesn't work at all anymore, with dragging .svg into the latest Sketch update? It just doesn't seem like you can drag and drop in, for example, icons from IconJar anymore...

    Or is it just me...
