Office Expenses & Supplies - would this include hardware? like a computer? VR headset for research & prototyping? lol while I use pencils everyday its hardly a significant expense
Everything adds up. My accountant gave me a good example of something really small - buying a thank you card for a client. Even if it's just a $2 card you picked up while you were at the grocery store, you can also still deduct the mileage spent driving there.
Valid point. However, doesn't answer my question. My tech hardware necessary to do business adds up a lot faster than $2 cards. We can write that off, correct? It wasn't on this list.
I'm not an accountant, but yes, you can definitely write off computers, tablets, phones, etc. Either all at once or as depreciation over a number of years. At least that's what TurboTax tells me!
