Work across devices (don’t care too much about IE)
So casual a dismissal .. admittedly not a major thing as a straight edge as a fallback is usually fine.
For customer websites I'm definitely not that cavalier. However, with the audience I have on my blog I have the luxury of not needing to do specific IE compatibility hacks or tricks.
Especially when the issue doesn’t stop people from using the site. I like it!
Cool solution! I ended up using an SVG as a background image on a project to accomplish this. Keeping content visible underneath the slant was a challenge though. I'll probably try this next time.
