You've chosen a very noble cause to "make WordPress great again." You've made a good, lightweight theme. Now land a job at Automattic and start working on getting the bloat out of their product. Once you've done that please move on over to fixing the huge security issues in the product. I'd say five or ten years from now, with a lot of hard work on your part, we'll have a really great WordPress.
