Well, don't really agree. Seems to me this is arse about face. Only need to use Variables where variables are needed. Or you may as well use normal CSS. Odd.

  Agreed. If you're having to place variables inside of variables, you're doing it wrong. It completely defeats the purpose and power of SASS variables.
