It's so crazy to think that now when kids grow up enough to start using the internet, they will find that they have already been on it through their parents since birth. I wonder if this is a good or bad thing.
When I started using the internet, I had a blank slate. No photos of me, no accounts made for me, etc. Now by the time kids of web-savvy parent grow up, they will already be able to google themselves, possibly have twitter handles, websites, etc.
I bet someone has written about this -- I would be interested to read what anyone with more experience than me has to say.
I understand what you mean. And to be honest, I'm also not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing. What I do know is that I got quite a few really nice comments from people that I don't know, not just here, also by email, and that already is pretty awesome! Also for James when he's older.
I do take care though with what I post ofcourse. But I agree with you, it will be interesting to read more about the effects this has, if there are any.
Thanks for sharing that Jeff.
Grand. nice site.
(but check your icon fonts in FF OSX ;) )
Whoa... the whole site looks crap in firefox on os x! Haven't tested it on ff. oops...
The website is looking awesome, congrats to both of you and the little James. Now go and help your wife! :)
Hahaha, Great comment! ;o) Thanks Bruno! =)
This is so awesome. Congrats also.
Congrats David! Website looks as good as James.
Thanks you very much! I do believe that James looks a LOT better than the website though.. but I guess that's what most designers always think, a website is never really finished and never really good enough. But ofcourse James is all perfect to me. =)
Congrats! That was very nice :)
Congratulations... and great site.
Congratulations! Great news, great site. Cheers.
This would make a great product for parents with new borns.
Congrats! here's an upvote.
Whoa! James got 4000 unique visitors on his website! And so many nice messages! Thank you all for your kindness!
I'm going to collect every message and print them out and hang them in his room haha. It's a nice start of a life I guess with all these positive words from all over the world. ;o)
Thanks dude! =)
Thank you all so much for your kind words! =)
Thanks a lot guys!! Good times.
Couldn't help myself posting the website on designer news.. haha. ;o)
