      Yes, it could be an issue and Apple guidelines don't recommend it, so there is no distractive ones in default states of this concept. Let's see how the Touch Bar would be used in real life. A possibility of it being as bright and distractive as a Christmas light is quite real though :)

    I love it when people try out new stuff or experiment with new technologies, but I cannot see the advantage of having to look down to your keyboard at the moment. I rarely (as in: never) look on my keyboard. I can see the usefulness for quick settings like volume, movie seeking or something like that, though.

    Nonetheless, it is a new way to interact with our machines and I'm excited with what kind of use cases people will come up with!

      Same here! I'm all for shortcuts and rarely even glance at the keyboard (there are even no Cyrillic letters on it, although I'm typing in Russian/Ukrainian a lot), but different strokes for different folks, right?
