    Hey everyone,

Very excited to show our latest release: Spec Mode. Our goal was to give designers and developers one "source of truth". You can see details here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGKS3KkF2gg

Here's how the Sketch workflow plays out:

    1. Import your Sketch file
    2. Prototype any layer you want
    3. For handoff, Spec Mode will auto-generate specs and CSS. You can also attach custom metadata to elements and patterns (descriptions of use cases, extra snippets, etc). The metadata follows the element even if you reuse it.

So, instead of handing off a marked up Sketch design, a prototype, and documentation, you can consolidate everything into one "master prototype".

    Happy to answer any questions!

I'm really curious about this update to UXPin.

In particular, the "interactive/ animations" instant spec sounds intriguing. Communicating interactions and relaying their specs to developers is still a bit in the stone ages.

I've signed up before and had a trial account, but never really used it. The trial is expired now - I guess I could sign up with another email, but playing that game is silly.

I don't mind paying for software, I pay for Invision and Zeplin now, but I can't justify another subscription without 'really' using it, and seeing how it integrates into my workflow.

Jon, we'll be happy to extend your trial! No tricks and games required :). Drop a note to hello@uxpin.com and I'll let our customer care know that you should get an extra trial :).
