Last half of year we worked hard on next version of Raindrop.io. If you have not used Raindrop.io for awhile it's time to try again!

In this release, we have improved the app in all respects: - Import now supports nested folders

    • Parser has been improved, now more accurately parse articles and links

    • Web app, desktop app and extension has been redesigned and now more customizable: font size, ability to change the size of the card, cover, hide or show the description of bookmarks and more

    • Themes (including dark)

    • Search is even smarter. It suggest filters depend on already entered criteria and current collection

    • Nested collections now displayed as tree in sidebar

    • 3-panel interface to read, view and edit bookmarks without losing context

    • Favourite bookmarks

    • Improved batch functions including ability to transfer multiple bookmarks at once

    • Fixed many bugs of previous version

Web App, Chrome, Firefox, Opera extension and Mac app has been updated. Finally Windows users can also take advantage of our application.

This looks really good and I've started using it. Seems perfect for what I want.

Question though, should the top level folder with nested bookmark children not show all the bookmarks contained below.

I created an Illustration folder, then added nested children of Pixel Art, Painting etc. - I'd expect to see everything in illustration, and then narrow it down if I need to. As it is all that happens is they move from Illustration to Pixel Art. Feels like I might as well just have lots of top level folders if thats the case.

    I keep getting errors, like:

"Error, please try again! Maybe you don't have an internet connection."

and another telling me to refresh.

Does there happen to be a Dragdis import tool available?

Seems promising. I've been evaluating bookmarking services, this seems to have a nice blend of features

Is this a proper substitute for Pocket App? I'm looking for months now for a substitute, because of some functionalities I don't like.

Edit: I'm trying now and already have a question... It's very common for me to save a lot of pages to read later from a site (mostly Feedly), what I do currently is right click the article's title and Save to Pocket. Btw this is something I don't like about Pocket. 1) It doesn't show me a list of tags without using the keyboard to start tapping its name. 2) It doesn't have a "Inbox", all it has is a "Untagged" section, and it's not fast to move articles between tags, or to navigate between them.

With Raindrop doing that opens a popup that takes some time loading. I tried closing it instead of waiting and confirmed it interrupts the procedure and doesn't save. Is it possible to maybe auto-close this popup, so I don't have lots of them opened as I save a bunch of links?

Edit 2: I'm trying the Chrome extension and I'm getting a lot of "This extension failed, click to restart." The sidebar shown in the pictures doesn't open.
