I can definitely see this getting people to post more. Smart move, dribbble.

Good to see Dribbble address one of the largest issues with the platform. If it will work is to be seen, but i'm hopeful it's a step in the right direction.

I mean Dribbble costs only $19 USD per year, PER YEAR. My last 6 gigs came from Dribbble. It is totally worth it.

Plus, you can get a discount for a year on Adobe Creative Cloud, which more than offsets it for a year at least. I don't use Dribbble much at all, but maybe I will now.

I get that but the cost is not an issue for me, I even got it for the first (~)3 years of Dribbble Pro.

But I don't consider myself an active Dribbble user anymore. I use Dribbble so rarely these days that it's just money down the drain for me.

Wow. I think I should start posting more stuff to Dribbble. Were any of these local? I'm always curious how often people search for designers by location.

Same here, got my current position through Dribbble. It seems stuck up hipster Medium designers are the only ones actually disliking the platform. For me it has led to numerous job opportunities. The portfolio feature alone is easily worth $19/year.

At the latest #MiamiDribbble I organized a critique night, where designers can post and get feedback in real time, we also had a discussion on how we can become better designers. It was pretty cool, this will definitely get more people to post more.
