Brace yourself.... here comes 1,000 site redesigns in black
Really like the device highlights that move on scroll. Such a nice little touch
€575 for Americans
€750 for the Dutch...
Fuck me right?
(Import costs up to 50% of the original price?????)
Yep. Us Brits are getting royally screwed too. I'm glad I bought my iPad Pro 9.7 and Apple Pencil when I did (a few months ago). Together, they are now £70 ($94) more expensive.
The cheapest newest iPhone is now £599 ($800) instead of £539 ($720). I'm still an Apple guy through and through. But why on Earth has the iPad Pro increased in price over here, when over the pond it's actually had a price cut!?
Apple. Sort it out! You are going to price people out of the market! (Probably not)
But why on Earth has the iPad Pro increased in price over here
Brexit, innit.
It's $649 excluding tax (5~10%, percentage depends on state). In New York you'll pay an extra $57.60. Still cheaper than the € prices though.
Must be because they pay so much taxes in Euro . . . oh wait.
I guess the glossy buttons trend will come back.
Courage, COURAGE!
The phone hardware is amazing. The OS in it, it's crap. Really outdated UI and flawed UX. I don't understand why they didn't invest effort on this area. There is too much hardware but little utility with the OS.
I tend to agree. It seems like Google/Android puts everything they've got into their annual updates. Apple recently seems to hold back, and spread things out to make each release marketable. It makes business sense, but it's annoying. Especially this year when all the talk is about how the 10-year anniversary next year will have all the big innovations.
Can you be more specific? What would a not outdated UI look like? What utility is lacking in iOS that I can find in Android or Win10? Widgets on the homescreen (do not want, waste a ton of battery)? Default app settings (fine that would be nice, but minor issue for me and not really a UI thing)?
I can do everything I need to do quickly and easily on iOS. What is there that you cannot do? Is it just lacking a new layer of gloss? I honestly don't understand this critique that I keep seeing about Apple. These devices are more than 7 generations in, they should not be expected to wow us every single time.
Android is a nice OS, heck so are part of Windows mobile, but overall I am far more productive with iOS, what am I missing?
iPhone 7 site: Parallax.

Great landing... insipid product
I might be a sucker for Jony Ive voice, but the "design film" always gets me.
