First: I'm immensely proud of Ashley for her work on this. It's taken her 11 years to get to this launch.
Second: in terms of design, this whole page just feels refreshing. Lots of whitespace. Delightful illustrations. Calming palette. You can tell she spent a lot of time on the words too - which I love.
Thanks, Justin. I appreciate your support. Glad you like the design. It was really important to me that my website and quote system were different to other insurance companies.
I like how you have a visual concept (nautical / navigation) and ran with it. Really gives brand personality and a distinct look.
A lot of startups just use a nice illustration style but no real ideas to back it, coming off as generic. This work is solid, bravo!
Thanks! All kudos go to simpleasmilk.com for the design / illustration.
I love the quote system. This is so human and wonderful. Amazing work, Ashley! :)
That's what I was aiming for! Thanks, Joel.
This is fantastic! I was just looking into this kind of thing as well! Really digging the design, I love this!
Thanks! Looking into insurance? Or do you mean something else?
Yes! insurance. I haven't gotten to the place financially to need/be able to use it, but once I start this new freelance job I will be working I know who to call :)
Great! If you have any questions about insurance, I'm happy to answer.
Good job!
Thanks!
I love this design too much. Great job!
I appreciate it, thank you.
So do they insure in the US or just the UK?
Just the UK, unfortunately.
That's one friendly insurance company if I've ever seen one. The conversational UI makes it feel more approachable for sure
Exactly what I was going for :-) Thanks.
Way to go Ashley! This site feels so comfortable and friendly. Beautifully done. The responsiveness is fantastic!
Yay, thank you! Glad you like it.
Good job Ashley!
Thank you :D
