Hey, one of the founders here - Thanks for posting Joe, appreciate the early feedback :) We built Combo to bring back to human element to music recommendations, as if it were your mate with outrageously good music taste. We're certainly not competing with the likes of Spotify/Apple Music as a service, more positioning ourselves as a discovery expansion pack!
Lots of big features planned for the coming weeks, keep an eye out.
Been using Combo for around a month now and I love it's unique UX and visual style. The swiping gesture to scroll through playlists is really nice and the ability to preview playlists is really nice. I can't wait to see how they develop the experience further!
Android is wellcome!
Looks interesting. But only for Apple? What a waste.
Hey Vinicius! Developer for Combo.fm here. We pulled together this initial build solely for iOS first, as that was the fastest way to get a product out into the wild. What we're planning to do over the course of the next few months is to take feedback and iterate over the app. We understand that, as it is, the app is far away from the "ideal" discovery experience; but we're hoping with user feedback and communication, we can build a product which hits that mark. Once we're there (or at least, closer!), we can confidently begin building for Android, knowing that we won't need to waste time building and maintaining two codebases (quite a hard task for a single developer, as I'm sure you understand!)
