Just because people get over complaining doesn't mean you made something good.
Anyways this was a cool post. I enjoyed the analytics shown and this is definitely how advertising should be!
We had a very successful redesign at Asana from almost every metric. We got amazing and mostly positive feedback from the design community, our users loved it, engagement grew, brand recognition numbers went higher, net promoter score increased, our mobile apps got better reviews and it was easier to recruit. I don't think there was one metric that was a negative.
We did have to sacrifice some cycles from delivering new features, but I'd say a year later, it was a near total success.
