Hey everyone, which display/monitor are you using as a second display for your MacBook Air or iMac?
Nothing at work, a Thunderbolt Display at home.
Dell UltraSharp U2715H 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor
I love it. Got mine on Prime day for about $460(US), replacing an older Dell monitor. The quality (in my opinion) is every bit as good as a Thunderbolt Display. We can assume Apple's next release (if they keep selling monitors) will be pretty amazing, but probably very expensive. For my needs, the Dell is perfect. Great quality for the price.
I just got mine but I feel there's something wrong the way Dell renders the fonts. Or maybe its because of poor handling of external displays by OS X. I've tried few things like this with little to no luck.
Dell U2713HM in the office and Dell U2412M at home. Really happy with both choices. If somewhere down the road either will break, I will definitely buy another Dell monitor.
Thunderbolt Display (RIP) at work, this 24" ASUS model at home.
At the Home Office a Thunderbolt Display. At the Office, 34" LG Ultrawide Curved Display.
Will never go back to a standard monitor.
I work at home with a Thunderbolt Display with my Macbook Pro. Humidity is extremely high here (northeast Brazil) and sometimes I get a lot of condensation inside the screen.
I use a LG 34UC97 34" Curved Ultrawide with my macbook air. Love it.
I bought a Dell Ultra HD 4K Monitor P2415Q 24-Inch monitor for work and I'm thinking about getting the same for home. It's a really solid monitor. Feels very "flat" to me. It doesn't hype colors and it's pretty sharp.
I've got the 27" version and I'm a big fan of it.
I'm using Thunderbold Display with MacBook Pro Retina at home but I'm using 27" 5K iMac at office. I'm very glad with that setup so far.
