Urls are so 2000s
Imagine this in few years with IPv6, when IPv4 will be way too mainstream...
I have no clue what this site is about. I can’t read this.
I have the same issue
Certainly a website!
I love this. It's unique, and it didn't kill my browser. +2
This is fantastic! not the most usable, but I didn't find myself caring. Every single site in the portfolio is fantastic as well. I am digging this
Love the nuance of each project (have to hover each title from left to right). Not saying it's the most usable site on earth but certainly innovative.
Good to hear. I would much rather make a site that is a bit frustrating than something that is just 'nice'. No idea why, but I like making things a little difficult and inaccessible, hence not even having a url!
The colors on Liv Siddall's site got me feeling a way
I've always been a big fan Benedict Redgroves work. Nice job on his site and great folio!
I like the work. I like the left-right scroll I would like to scroll up and down, but alas, I cannot.
If you mean using the cursor to scroll up and down the whole page as the same way as the projects, I did play around with that, but it was too out of control! Never been a fan of hijacking the up down scroll too.
I'm trying to 2-finger scroll on a mac trackpad (safari), but you might be getting a different method than me. Regardless, not a great fan of hijacking scrolling either. That and hamburger menus are the constant trolls of my career.
ah wow yeah its a bit janky on safari, I'll fix that up. thanks!
What I see is a bunch of pixels.
I'm not about to shit on what is obviously a fun, risky experimental personal site. I'm all for that kind of thing. But...
The scrolling on safari on my mac is really broken, can't just seem to scroll down the page without it getting stuck.
Yeah sorry, someone above caught that, just fixed it now :)
This is ace.. well played
Great work on the type. I like the scrolling effect of the titles. This is good stuff. It stands out.
Wow. Something is buggy with the scrolling where on Safari, I had no idea there was more options than the first one. It won't scroll vertical for me unless I try it a couple times. Weird. The only reason I figured it out was because people mentioned liking all the sites... and I was only seeing one. It wants to lock a lot as I vertically scroll.... maybe because it's conflicting with the horizontal?
I'm all for (and dig) the design and the complexity, but I'd make sure you can at least scroll easily vertically to see them all... otherwise it kinda defeats the point of the site.
is is still definitely happening now? I literally updated it in the last 10 mins, unless I am missing something, safari is all good for me now.
Works for me!
One hundred eleventy bajillion percent better. Noice!
Yes! When I first checked the site I had the same scrolling issue and immediately closed it, but now that it's working, I'm loving it. Quirky and kinda confusing but as soon as you get the system, it's actually quite straightforward, fun, and above all, fresh! (Also, great breadth of work dude!)
