The word "both" seems weird in that footer sentence, since there are three things listed. I'd just remove it.
Thx a lot Taylor. i got to confess I spend a good 30 minutes figuring the copy for that footer. Wondering what to put in. I'll see if dropping the both would work
I love everything about it.
Am I the only one that hasn't been able to load this page since it was posted yesterday?
Nope, me neither. Would love to see it though!
Hi. Could you let me know which configuration you were using? (browser, os / mobile) so I can check whats going on.
Hey Jeremy, I was using the latest v. of Chrome & Lion. I actually just checked it now and was able to load, though there were definitely a few days there where I couldn't get anything at all.
I know Will H. in real life, and I'm pretty sure his configuration was pretty similar to mine. Our internet has been acting up, so it could have just been something weird with that.
Awesome photos – I had a great time looking through them!
This is really nice. I love the brief bits of text, quick to read and makes me want to keep exploring.
My only gripe is the constantly shifting mustache icon - it's a bit distracting.
Great photos & the design is cool conceptually. Personally I find the navigation flow disorienting. Maybe because I expect the mustache thing to help navigate the site. Same goes for the icon on the top right.
Why not have this as his main site? Don't get it.
"This is my personal blog. It is still an experiment. You'll find here (so far), photo stories about my life in the beautiful California or my travels around the world. Click on an image to start the experience!"
I'm assuming he will not be talking about design at all in this blog. So really if someone went to his site expecting to see maybe work or even writing about design this wouldn't present them with that.
Hi Thomas. It is the plan of course. But redesigning and coding all of my pages would take forever. I also have a full time job and this is only on my free time. instead of keeping this secret for 1+ year, I just decided to ship it and then build the other pages on my site on top of this. But as you've seen the menu and history.js is ready to take in charge those extra pages :)
Ok then! You are excused :-)
Amazing design on the blog, I have to say... Let me (us) know when you've found the time to build it all!
