Why does this happen?
When did white text on white background become acceptable? It's the only photo (it's not even dynamic). Not that it matters, but in this case it's even more infuriating.
I mean, more of the text is visible now than if it were black text:
My main problem is when you hover over the nav bar, the text of the logo disappears. Which may be purposeful, but I am not sure if it is or not.
Well, then not black nor white. Or another background. Or helper shadows, or borders or backgrounds. Just not unreadable :)
And regarding the logo text disappearing, I think that's on purpose. It happens when you scroll as well. And on the brand part they have when you scroll ("Our New Look") they also emphasize that. I think they're going for a logo with that.
Agreed, Just a dark overlay on it would make it way more readable as well.
Yeah i realized that afterwards, I thought the text was just supposed to go gray, but I guess thats their branding. Pretty cool either way
