These guys already solved the question of whether Designers should code or not.
Hey DN! We launched our Product Design Track this week. Combines frontend development skills with holistic product design skills to create some killer outcomes. Any thoughts, feedback, comments? Would be happy to talk :)
I love how Frontend Dev is always just thrown in there, like a pinch of black pepper, to spice it up, so you can at least use all the frameworks, but stay unable to debug them. It might not be the case, but thats what it looks like to me, especially when I read this:
Go beyond basic HTML and CSS/Sass: learn to use CSS transitions, responsive CSS with media queries, and compiling Sass.
But it is a beautifully designed website, targeting a specific audience it seems, which I am obviously not. How did it become so fashionable for designers to only want to make products? Don't we have enough of it already? o_o
