Not a lot of buttons but it has a cable (never have to worry about batteries), it's light, and the colours are actually pretty fun. I think it's one of the better looking mice, especially compared to some of the outlandish gaming mice out there. I've had both of mine for 2+ years and they're still kicking it.

Use a Wacom Intuos Pro Large at home, and at work. Ditched the mouse about 6 years ago. Can't go back!

MX Master.

I switched from the magic mouse and I can definitely say I will never switch back. Much more customizable and I'm able to do a lot more with a lot less effort.

I was a die hard magic mouse user until recently my palm started to hurt after long periods of intensive work. I was going to buy MX master but college suggested that i should try a proper wired gaming mouse. As they are comfortable, precise, and super light as they don't have internal battery.

The Anker Vertical Ergonomic Mouse is my jam. It was awkward for a few days, but once I got used to it, it's been soooo nice on the wrists. Three alt buttons and a clickable scroll makes for easy shortcuts in apps too.

Magic Mouse 2

For work, I've got a Logitech M510 that I carry in my bag with me and plug into my machine at work. It was inexpensive but gets the job done nicely. I like this mouse a lot.

For gaming I've got a Logitech G700S and a G600 (for MMOs). I almost considered using my G700S for work but wanted something smaller and more easily portable and the M510 hit that for me.

I have the last 2 versions of the Logitech Anywhere MX mice. They are the slightly smaller versions designed for business travel compared to the larger ones. I like them because they are thicker, cupping my hand a bit better than an Apple Magic Mouse. They are also awesome to travel with if needed.

I've have the big MX ones before, but they almost felt too big to me.

Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse

My favourite as its portable and lightweight. MX mouse should come with its own briefcase, but v comfy to use.

I used to use my Microsoft Arc Mouse, but the performance is absolutely terrible on OS X now. El Capitan changed some things because it used to work wonderfully. Now, I use the new Magic Trackpad and it's decent. I hate that it won't register when I want to click and drag items into a folder, or onto an email, &c.

Absolutely frustrating when that happens.

Logitech G502 is the greatest mouse ever made.

You should call Logitech. Those things have a three year warranty. That's not supposed to happen and they'll fix it for you. Actually, they'll probably just send you a replacement.

We had five MX Anywhere between us. One had this issue and Logitech replaced it. These have been around since 2010 and that's the only problem. A couple wore out.

The MX Performance had an issue where the middle click didn't work. Happened with a bunch of them. I opened it up and put a tiny bead of hot glue which solved that issue. If anything, you might be able to fix yours. It might just need tightened.

Sadly, there's really no better option then these mice. Now that everyone is making tiny hand hurting mice.

I'm going from the MX Performance to the MX Master. The MX Performance honestly has some flaws that I hope the Master corrects. To be honest, I use a Microsoft Mouse 5000 most of the time. It's $30, perfect size and tracks perfectly. They discontinued it and I bought 5 and put them in the drawer because they don't last but a year before the rubber on the wheel gives out.

I don't know why everyone sucks at making mice but Logitech is the best among them.

Apple magic mouse

Interesting. My Logitech Master MX's free spin mode button died on me too. Only after a couple of days that's why I've sent it back to Amazon as well. Right now I'm using the Apple Magic Mouse for work but I'm still looking for a comfortable, light weight mouse. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Logitech G500 (the last gen). I have 3 of them! For home, travel and work.

I am using the ZOWIE FK1 for over a year now. Good for everyday and gaming of course :) It has a build in driver and no acceleration. So it doesn't speed away when you move fast.

I use a Corsair M65 RGB, mainly for the on the fly DPI switching. Also because it looks pretty sweet.

I have Logitech performance MX at home and I use Razer DeathAdder at work. Im leaning more towards the DeathAdder. One of reasons is that it has better control panel for dpi etc. I have had it for two years and cant complain.

No wire to get snagged on things, and no tiny USB dongle to lose. If you have BetterTouchTool on your Mac, you can even remap the blue touch area's gesture controls! Plus it's pretty cheap, so it's got that going.

Magic Mouse for me. I tried the MX master and while I appreciate how comfortable and well built it feels, using a scroll wheel, tons of buttons and that awkward thumb press to do the things the magic mouse handles with gestures just feels like yesterday's technology.

Logitech MX Master and so far I love it. I had the magic mouse and was reluctant to switch. But I love using the side buttons to switch around between full-screen apps on my little beast (the Macbook 12 inch).

I'm in a bloody mouse hell. Left-handed people aren't even an afterthought in this industry, and it absolutely sucks.

As such, I use an ambidextrous mouse by SteelSeries (Sensei RAW or something like that I believe). It's large enough to be comfortable and it's very precise. The long-term durability doesn't seem on par with others.

At work, I use a Logitech MX1100. It used to be my personal mouse at home and I have it now for more than 6 years. The rubber on the scroll wheel is non existent though. And the sides are deteriorating ahah.

At home I have a Logitech MX Master for about a year.

Right now I just really can't deal with a computer without the free-scrolling mode that Logitech mice have.

I've had a Logitech G700 for a few years now and it's by far my favorite mouse I've ever owned. It feels really similar to the MX Revolution, so you'll feel right at home. For gaming and design, it works flawlessly. Not a single blip in the signal.

It's highly customizable too. You can set it to poll less frequently to conserve battery. Even on the mid/high polling rates I get all-day battery life. And push comes to shove you can swap the single AA battery and throw the other in a charger.

The cord that connects + charges isn't all that great. I find myself fighting with it a lot. But I barely ever use the mouse with it connected anyway, though if I don't have an extra battery handy, it's nice for those situations.

If you're looking for a replacement for your MX, this is the mouse to get.

I use an ambidextrous gaming mouse - the razer taipan. It's super accurate, full but not big, and light enough to not feel tiring.
